Nicor Illinois Community Investment (NICI) is a charitable foundation established by Nicor Gas. NICI’s purpose is to recognize and invest in the potential of people and organizations in communities throughout Northern Illinois.
NICI takes a place-based approach to provide multi-year commitments to our prioritized communities and seeks to collaborate with local stakeholders to leverage our impact. We champion economic opportunities designed to nurture their capabilities, address their unmet needs and restore their sense of agency.
