Comprehensive Community Solutions’ NICI Impact Grant Funds Launch of Multi-Generational “Connect & Thrive Collective”
Comprehensive Community Solutions, Inc. (CCS) was founded in 1992 and has since been recognized for its rigorous, partnership-based workforce development initiatives for youth ages 16-24. Thanks to an Impact Grant in 2025, CCS was able to expand its workforce and mental health programming to serve adult clients as well.
CCS is using its second NICI Impact Grant to initiate the Connect & Thrive Collective: a yearlong initiative designed to deepen relationships, increase collaboration and expand access to economic opportunity for youth, adults, families and community partners. Funding reinforces the organization’s capacity to coordinate networks, support cross-sector partnerships and strengthen community engagement to increase economic mobility for every Rockford resident.
